Even though he didn’t have the best computation skills, you can’t tell me he didn’t learn about math.

This was written by a 4th quarter, 2nd semester senior. Can you imagine how incredible it had to be for this student to not only share how much growth they had experienced (“I saw myself become the student I always thought I could be…”), but to reflect back and know what got them there (“This achievement came as a result of being patient and never giving up on problems.”). Meta-cognition achieved!
